Product Description
The AlorAir crawlspace dehumidifiers help reduce excess moisture and protect your home. Choosing an ENERGY STAR dehumidifier can deliver savings on energy bills without sacrificing performance, features, and comfort while protecting the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It is much smaller and more compact than the conventional Crawl Space Basement dehumidifiers on the market.ALORAIR dehumidifier is perfect for low-clearance crawl spaces and tight basement areas or to fit in between floor joists.

So much better than regular room dehumidifiers!

I’ve had regular dehumidifiers in my sealed crawl space for about 10 years. This is so much better. Even though the room dehumidifiers were for large areas, it would still take about an hour of constantly running before seeing a decrease in humidity. With this, it took less than 15 minutes to see a significant impact. Very, very, very good.

Running great for 3 months so far

In a crawlspace, this unit has dried out the excess moisture and runs just fine. Its hose drips into a sump pump. A small fan on the opposite corner of the crawlspace helps keep the air circulating around. The humidity is holding between 40 and 50%. I installed it on top of a large patio paver on the floor of the crawlspace. This unit qualified for a utility rebate in my area, which is worth checking into with your local utility (high efficiency dehumidifier).

Works great, and runs quietly!

My crawl space is unsealed (concrete mat foundation with some small vents to the outside), and over a day or so, the humidity went from the same as outside to the target setting on the dehumidifier. This graph says it all.I also really like the built-in pump. No external pump means an extra outlet in the crawl space, and it allows me to place the humidifier in the optimal location. So far, it's been working great after a month.
