Easy install works greaet.

Installed 2 of these in my 4' crawl space. We have 2k sq ft and I live in coastal North Carolina (very humid). We plugged the 16 crawl vents with Styrofoam squares and in a week went from 94% humidity under the house with 15-20% moisture readings on lumber to a stable 49% and 6 and 7% moisture readings. I went with 2x the needed power figuring I was not encapsulating (have a 6mil poly barrier and the styro blocks) works like a champ. For $20 in conduit and a $10 connector, routing the exhaust dehumidified air to dead spots has also helped a ton. Great product and we saved a pile of $ by DIY.

Game changer home in CT

Stop buying the stupid dehumidifier with the little bucket. If you have a drain in your basement, mount it on the wall or to the ceiling and let it work. The whole house, a/c, and everyone will appreciate it. This thing is awesome, and the basement air is 1000% better! I have no more allergies when I go to the basement.

Work Horse Dehumidifier

My unit is placed in the basement of a Cape Cod ocean front house which is of course humid in the summer. It's a real work horse of a dehumidifier and certainly beats the run of the mill residential ones.I suggest putting a furnace air filter at the back of the unit where it draws air to keep the unit clean.

Very dependable and performs great

We have had this for just over a month and it seems to be working flawless. Like the digital readout of current humidity levels, and responds quickly to adjustments. Highly recommend.

Finally, a good dehumidifier!

I've had this unit for nearly 3 years, and it's been running (compressor on) probably 85% of that time. I literally have a pile of six dead consumer-grade dehumidifiers because those white plastic boxes 1-3 years, usually around 2. I bought this unit for my new shop and I'm so glad I did. It's made well, with an actual metal case, nothing is corroding, I've never had to clean the coils because it uses a *real* filter, and the humidistat is reasonably accurate. It is quite a bit louder than the junk dehumidifiers, but that isn't as much of an issue for me since it's located in a semi-commercial shop, not my house. Yes, it's expensive, but when you consider that it will actually LAST, it's cheaper! I also like that it has a duct collar, so I can put the unit/intake in the main room and pipe the output into the smaller rooms (which have doors into the main/large room), thereby dehumidifying the whole shop with one unit.November 2023: I took the case off of the unit to see how dirty and corroded it was. It was a bit dirty, no big deal, but wow, I am SO impressed with how totally not-corroded the heat exchangers are! Not a bit of rust! These really are well-made dehumidifiers.
